FABIO CERRONE in the last three years has been mainly involved with three bands: Virtual Dream, Twin Dragons and the Tony Martin band. Tony Martin (Black Sabbath's singer from 1987 to 1997) asked Fabio to join his band after some collaboration under the Twin Dragons project. Tony has a new album out titled "Scream" that has been promoted with the band playing an extensive European tour during 2005 and 2006 . Twin Dragons , featured Nathaniel Peterson (Howlin Wolf, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Savoy Brown) on vocals and bass and Clive Bunker (Jethro Tull) on drums. Twin Dragons has recorded a cd "Long way from home" and had toured Europe in 2004-2005 . The tour included Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Holland, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Czech rep, Slovakia, Austria, Romania ecc . The band played lots of important festival with big artist such as Jethro Tull, Colosseum, Carl Palmer ecc. Fabio was also part, as solo artist, of a special tribute project to Jimi Hendrix that toured Europe and included great guitarists such as Uli John Roth (SCORPIONS), David O List (PINK FLOYD), Snovy White (THIN LIZZY), Graham Oliver (SAXON) ecc.. The first concert had taken place in Bucharest in December 2004, during the three days festival "Rock in my Heart" . In the sport Arena of Bucharest MTV recorded and broadcasted the whole show. Right now Fabio is releasing the third cd with his own instrumental Jazz-Rock trio Virtual Dream titled "Three sides of a coin" and a special live Dvd, featuring Pierpaolo Ranieri on bass and Lucrezio DeSeta on drums. The debut cd "Sintesi" has been voted by the Fusenet newsgroup in the top 20 fusion cd's of the 90's and Fabio in the top 10 young guns of guitar of the 90's . Virtual Dream played live with important artists such as Brand X , especially Pierre Moerlen (ex Gong) and Percy Jones were really impressed by the band potential. The press helped the project to move ahead and Virtual Dream played live in many important music television shows. In 2002 Virtual Dream recorded the second cd titled "Casuality" and promoted the album touring. Fabio also recorded an album and toured with the Progressive rock band Divae along with bands like Il Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme, Anakdoten, Arena ecc. Fabio also recorded on the Divae cd "Ieri, oggi,domani" . In 2001 Fabio recorded the debut cd of the hard rock band Hemisphere titled "Mind's Door" released by SPV . The band received very enthusiastic reviews from the press. Fabio also worked five years in London, England, as session man for the agency Session Connection . Fabio writes for the guitar magazine Axe. When is not touring with his bands Fabio is involved in guitar clinics and music seminars.
